Matisse Marathon

Thursday April 26, 2007

Wow! The Dallas Museum of Art and the Nasher Sculpture Gallery are joining together to stay open for thirty-one hours straight, from 10am April 28 (Saturday) until 5pm April 29 (Sunday). This celebration is for the closing hours of the Matisse exhibits showing at both places.

A $20 admission ($10 between midnight Saturday and 9am Sunday) gets you into both museums. The excellent restaurants will stay open to serve the full menu all night and an outdoor Paris-style cafe will allow you to take full advantage of the lovely weather (between tornadoes) we've been having. Live music and entertainers, as well as a French film festival, round out the evening.
