Dallas Cowboys Watching Parties

Thursday January 10, 2008

The playoffs are here and on Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys play the New York Giants. This game is predicted to be a close one and if you weren't able to get tickets to it, there will be several places having Cowboys watching parties.

The Granada Theater opens its doors at 2:30 p. m. on Sunday. No cover will be charged to watch the game on their three giant screens. They're giving away a free drink to everyone who arrives thirty minutes before the game and offering $2.50 beer and well drinks. A full menu and will be available during the game. To reserve seats, email management@granadatheater.com or call (214) 824-9933. Granada Theater is located at 3524 Greenville Avenue. To get there, take I-75 into Dallas and exit Mockingbird Lane. Go east on Mockingbird and turn right onto Greenville Avenue. Granada Theater is about a quarter mile down.

The Metro Cinema in Colleyville is also having a game party. Watch the game on their cinema screen. The Indigo Grille will be serving food and beverages in the theater with bucket of beer specials -- $10 for domestic beer and $15 for imports. Admission is free and seating is first come, first served. The Metro Cinema is located at 5655 Colleyville Boulevard (Highway 26/Grapevine Highway). To get there, take 635 North Loop West to 121 south for five or six miles. Exit Hall-Johnson Road and turn right onto Hall-Johnson. After about three miles, turn left on Colleyville Boulevard and the Metro Cinema is right there.

Updated to add the Angelika Dallas to the list of Cowboys watching parties. Admission is free and seating is first come, first served. Doors open at 2:30 p. m. for the game. A full bar is available.
