Terrific Teas Garden Walk

Winter is definitely here. December's heating bill was not too pretty. I'm now wrapping up in thick sweaters, double pairs of socks, and fuzzy blankets. I'm setting a fire in the fireplace to warm the room. The chill is hard to ward off. One thing that does help is a steaming cup of tea. Usually, I just use black tea, but herbal teas are nice for a change. This Saturday, January 19 at 10 a. m., tour the demonstration gardens at the Texas Discovery Gardens at Fair Park and learn how to make herbal teas from plants you can grow in your own garden. The guided garden tour will be led by a knowledgeable gardener.
