Mockingbird Station has lots of goings-on Saturday afternoon. Local rock/pop band Sparrow Box takes the stage at 1 p.m. in front of the Angelika Film Center in the first concert of Counter Culture's outdoor concert series. Local artists Khurk, Aspen Polvi, and Asher Feehan will also be displaying their work.

Trinity Hall starts the live music inside their pub at noon with Jigsaw, a light traditional Irish band, followed by Seamus Stout at 3 p.m. and Jeff Phillips at 9 p.m.

Also at Mockingbird Station, Weimaraner Rescue, Inc. of North Texas will be showing off adoptable dogs. Stop by and adopt one or find out how to get involved in the rescue.
