Robocamp 2008

Tuesday March 18, 2008

For middle school and high school students seriously interested in computer science and robotic engineering, The University of North Texas Department of Computer Science and Engineering is sponsoring several Robocamps this summer. Students will form teams and create robots of their own design, assisted by staff from the university. Prizes will be awarded for the best designs. The camps will be five days and will cover robotics, engineering design, critical thinking, and programming topics.

Enrollment is free and is first come-first served. Each camp is limited to twenty students. For students who have completed a previous Robocamp, a three-day Advanced Robotics Workshop is offered. This is a great opportunity for those students interested in pursuing a career in engineering.
