Race Weekend

The O'Reilly 300 and the Samsung 500 run at the Texas Motor Speedway this Saturday and Sunday. The O'Reilly 300 will be on Saturday, Apr 5 at 2 p.m. The pre-race show features the Doobie Brothers and starts at 11 a.m. and the Samsung 500 will be at 1 p.m. Tickets are still available to all the events. Seats in the backstretch are cheaper and the view is just as good, but there is no shade, so be sure to wear plenty of sunscreen.

On Thursday, Apr 3, practice for the O'Reilly 300 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and again from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Qualifying starts at 6 p.m. Friday practice for the Samsung 500 starts at noon and continues until 1:30 p.m. and qualifying starts at 3:40 p.m. Practice for the Samsung 500 runs again on Saturday 11 a.m.-11:45 a.m. and 12:20 p.m.-1:20 p.m.

If you're looking for driver appearances, Chevy Thunder Days will be going on at the Fort Worth Stockyards Station on Apr 4-5. A pit crew challenge and other interactive games will also be there.
