Thu, Aug 21- 9:30 a.m., kids can hunt for "Treasure in the Courtyard" at Grapevine Mills Mall.
- 8 p.m.-10 p.m., enjoy the family-friendly comedy of David Slick, "Best Juggler in DFW", at One Arts Plaza (1722 Routh Street in downtown Dallas).
- 8 p.m., Fort Worth-based country band Stephen Pointer Band will play at the White Elephant Saloon (106 E. Exchange Street in Fort Worth).
- 8 p.m.-midnight, Pearl's Dance Hall and Saloon (302 W. Exchange Street in Fort Worth) has acoustic night with Randy Brown and Chad Rueffer.
- 9 p.m.-2 a.m., check out The Cool Kids at the Granada Theater (3524 Greenville Avenue in Dallas).
- 7 p.m.-9 p.m., try an evening ride -- both off-road and paved trails -- at the River Legacy Science Center (703 NW Green Oaks Boulevard at Cooper Street in Arlington). Meet at the Mountain Bike Trailhead parking lot.
- 7 p.m.-10 p.m., Darrell Havard plays smooth jazz at D'Vine Wine of Texas (426 Town Center Boulevard in Garland).

- All day, every day through September 3, stop by Origins at the Parks at Arlington mall, Stonebriar Centre mall, and other locations for a free 2-minute skin consultation and four samples of Origins products.
- 2 p.m., watch "Degas and the Dance: The Man Behind the Easel", a film about the development of Impressionism, at the Kimbell Art Museum in the Fort Worth Cultural District.
- 2 p.m., check out the latest fashions for school at a children's fashion show in Macy's at Stonebriar Centre mall.
