Fair Park Towing Scam, Revisited

Thursday December 18, 2008

Lone Star Auto Services -- the towing company that removed a parking lot full of cars during the State Fair at $200 each, then claimed they were victims of a scam -- is back. The city of Dallas revoked their towing permit, so the folks at Lone Star "reorganized" and applied to the state for new licenses under different names. Now Lone Star will be doing business under the names Ideal Towing of Dallas and Champion Tows. It appears to be all the same people involved, so towing practices will be similar, no doubt.
