Energy Star Tax-Free Weekend

If you're thinking about getting a new appliance soon -- like, maybe an energy-efficient air conditioner to help control those electric bills -- this weekend is a great time to buy. The state of Texas is having the Energy Star Tax-Free Weekend May 23-25 (Saturday through Monday). It's even a good weekend to stock up on light bulbs, if the light bulbs have the Energy Star designation.
