I'm horrified. A ninth-grader at Shepton High School in Plano ate fetal pig parts on a dare. His friends gave him $50 to eat the testicles. He says he avoided chewing and simply swallowed them like a pill. Surely he remembered the biology teacher's cautions at the beginning of class: don't get the formaldehyde in your eyes; don't get the formaldehyde in an open cut; try to get some fresh air every so often because formaldehyde isn't good for your lungs, either. It's been twenty-five years and I still remember that we were supposed to avoid the formaldehyde as much as possible. Well, his mom took him to the hospital, which cost $100. He owes his mom quite a bit more than he got for a silly stunt.
