Be sure to wear your dancing shoes or at least something comfortable if you're going to Six Flags over Texas on Saturday because it's National Dance Day!

What:   National Dance Day--a choreographed dance for park guests to participate in

Who:   Six Flags Over Texas and Dance Council of North Texas

When:  Saturday, July 31 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Where:  Six Flags Over Texas Front Gate Stage

Additional Information: With the hopes of spreading dance education and physical fitness throughout the United States, National Dance Day was created. Leading the efforts at Six Flags Over Texas will be special guests from the Dance Council of North Texas. These Dallas dancers will teach park-goers a routine created by notable choreographers Napoleon and Tabitha D'umo.

Into The Groove
This day will be celebrated nationwide with the same dance being performed on the same day, Saturday, July 31.

Just Dance
So prepare to Shake Your Groove Thing, put on Your Boogie Shoes and Dance the Night Away. It doesn't matter if you do the Conga, Hoedown Throwdown, The Twist, you Twist and Shout, or just Get Jiggy Wit It, have a good time, and as choreographer/former American Idol judge Paula Abdul says Dance Like There's No Tomorrow. Exercise is great for your body, heart and mind and You Should be Dancing (yeah). Hey, The Hips Don't Lie.
