The fireworks are over so now what? If you're looking for some family fun, there are plenty of things to do in DFW this weekend.

Jazz in the Atrium
Kick the weekend off a day early (July 12th) with a little Jazz in the Atrium at the Dallas Museum of Art. Catch Andrea Dawson Band from 6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Dawson has a repertoire that swings from Ella to Aretha; B.B. King to Tracy Chapman. She offers a mixture of smooth blues and rocking jazz. It's free with general admission. DMA.

Taste of Dallas
This is the  perfect opportunity to taste the best of Dallas under one setting. Some of the best local chefs are on hand to offer tastings from $1-$3. Barbecue, tacos, cake balls and fine dining will all be represented. Cooking demonstrations, kids cooking demonstrations, arts and crafts and more fun. Fair Park, $8, $12 parking. Fair Park.

Peach Festival
Why not get out of your city or suburban area and celebrate all things peaches! It's the 26th annual Peach Festival and $5 gets you live music, arts/crafts, and more. You haven't lived until you've tasted fresh, homemade peach ice cream. You can't beat fresh peach cobbler. Saturday, July 14 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in historic downtown Weatherford. Details.
