Numbers are rising in both cases of the flu as well as flu-related deaths in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. WFAA reported Tuesday evening that at 6-year-old girl died allegedly from the flu this week. Another little boy died last week.
That is scary.
I have not had my daughter immunized against the flu but I will be calling her pediatrician Wednesday as soon as the office opens.

It's getting so severe that when I spoke to Dallas County Health and Human Services on Tuesday afternoon, they said you don't even have to live in Dallas County to get the flu shot.
So just head over to Dallas or your health care provider and look into getting vaccinated.
