Friday, February 22, 2013 is National Margarita Day and amigos throughout DFW are ready to celebrate. Of all the national holidays, I think this is by far the coolest one.
Why? Because I love a good margarita. They're perfect when paired with any Mexican food, a spicy seafood dish or even a grilled steak.
I'm thrilled that I have the opportunity to meet Mariano Martinez, the creator of the modern-day frozen margarita machine. He's also the genius behind Mariano's Mexican Cuisine, Mariano's Hacienda, and La Hacienda Ranch.
