DFW's Cortez Shaw is in it to win it on American Idol. Or is he out to make a name for himself? Or is he just trying to anger the judges?
It may be all of the above. The 21-year-old made the Top 40 and will sing for his life this week on the nation's favorite singing competition.
He sang a Whitney Houston song to which judge Randy Jackson replied, "You aint Whitney."
That's harsh. Idol airs on FOX4 Wednesday and Thursday at 7 p.m.
