I love that I'm everyone's personal On-Star navigation system for restaurants, shopping and things to do around the DFW area. I love to recommend a new restaurant and have someone tell me how much they loved it. But the stress is on to find the right item at the right resto -- and then have my foodie friends agree with me.
But if there's one thing I know, it's good Mexican food.
I had the opportunity to try out a place that was new to me last week -- Lazaranda Modern Kitchen and Tequila. The restaurant had gone through a little rebranding -- a tweak on the name and a few cosmetic changes. But I think that Lazaranda is a delightful place for authentic Monterrey-style Mexican cuisine. You will find a lobster taco and a rib eye taco on the menu -- but it's nacho typical taco joint. (Sorry for the pun).
I made my first visit to Lazaranda last week and sampled several delicious dishes. Here is my full review of Lazaranda Modern Kitchen and Tequila. In a nutshell, I loved the food I sampled. And there were some dishes on the menu that I bet were equally delicious.
