Having grown up in the Metroplex, Heather Carr knows that Dallas and the surrounding cities are exciting and ever-changing.
Experience:
Heather moved to the Dallas area when she was five years old and has lived in the area ever since (except for a brief time during her college days). She finally settled in the area in 1999 and dedicated herself to writing about her hometown on a regular basis. Since then, she's been wandering about the Metroplex, searching out the places of her youth and seeking new and interesting things to do. Heather has written for About.com since 2007, informing users about events, attractions, and living in Dallas.
