Mar 14, 11 a.m. Traditionally held the Saturday before St. Patrick's Day, the Greenville Avenue St. Patrick's Day Parade has been going on since 1979. This very popular parade gets crowded early, so your best bet is to take DART's
Red Line.
Block Party in the West End
Mar 15, noon-7 p.m. Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with live Irish music, bagpipers, an arts fair, and a kids' area. A pet parade and costume contest at 4 p.m. will benefit the SPCA of Texas.Mar 14. Start the day out with a Paddy Run (two miles and another for fifty yards) at 8 a.m. At 9 a.m., Lochrann's is holding a St. Patrick's Day parade, starting at Lochrann's and marching through Frisco Square. Afterwards, enjoy the Irish atmosphere of the pub with free live music until 9 p.m. After 9 p.m., there is a $5 cover. Lochrann's Irish Pub is at 6195 Main Street in Frisco across from Pizza Hut Park.
