Hollie Cavanagh needs your vote on Wednesday night. American Idol airs its live broadcast at 7 p.m. (CT) and the lines open up for two hours of voting at 9 p.m.
Why It's Important: Hometown Heroes
The Top 3 finalists get to return as a hometown hero. If Hollie makes it into the Top 3, the welcome home Hollie party will take place Saturday in McKinney. Details will be provided -- but we need to help her make it to the Top 3 destination! You can help support DFW's local talent.
How to Vote
Vote toll-free. Each contestant is assigned a toll-free number during the performance show each Wednesday. To vote, simply dial the 866-number of the contestant for whom you wish to vote (which is Hollie).
AT&T Text Voting: Each contestant will be assigned text message short code number each Wednesday. AT&T wireless customers only may text the word 'VOTE' to the 4 digit short code numbers promoted for each contestant. What to Expect Wednesday Night
This week's theme is California Dreamin'. The Top 4 will sing one song from a California band or artist. For their second song, they were asked to pick a song that they wish they had written -- so basically they get to choose their own song.
