Duran Duran opened the show for VH1 and Pepsi's "Fan Jam" to kick off the celebrations prior to Super Bowl XLV at Cowboys Stadium. The event took place at Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie on Thursday, February 3, 2011. The recent ice storm didn't keep fans away. The stadium filled even though snow was forecast for later in the evening.
The concert began about 7 p.m. CT, but was broadcast at 8 p.m. after some editing on VH1.
Duran Duran treated the audience by performing fan favorites "Hungry Like the Wolf," "Notorious, and "Girls on Film." They also played "Girl Panic," a new song from their forthcoming album.
