Azle Independent School District is located to the northwest of Fort Worth and is bordered by Lake Worth and Eagle Mountain Lake.
Azle ISD serves the cities of Azle, Lakeside, Reno, Pelican Bay and Sanctuary and portions of Tarrant, Parker, and Wise counties with seven elementary schools, two junior highs, and one high school.

The Board of Trustees meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Azle ISD Phoenix Alternative Campus at 483 Sandy Beach Road in Azle. These meetings are open to the public.
