The Fort Worth Independent School District is the fifth largest school district in Texas with nearly 80,000 students.Fort Worth ISD serves the cities of Fort Worth, Benbrook, Westover Hills, Westworth Village, Haltom City, Forest Hills, and some unincorporated portions of Tarrant County with eighty elementary schools, twenty-four middle schools, thirteen high schools, and twenty-seven alternative schools.
