Garland Independent School District

Garland Independent School District is the twelfth largest school district in Texas with more than 58,000 students.
Garland ISD serves the cities of Garland, Rowlett, Sachse, Wylie, and Dallas with two prekindergarten schools, forty-five elementary schools, thirteen middle schools, seven high schools, and three other schools. Rather than using attendance zones, like most school districts, Garland offers the "Freedom of Choice" enrollment program. Parents get to choose which school within the district their children attend.
