Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District is located to the west side of the mid-cities, just east of Fort Worth. It serves most of Hurst, Euless, and Bedford, and a portion of Fort Worth. More than 20,000 students attend nineteen elementary schools, five junior highs, two high schools, an alternative education center, and a technical education center.
HEBISD schools participate in several innovative programs, including Suzuki Strings, Core Knowledge, Foreign Language Immersion, where students learn entirely in Spanish, and the International Business Initiative, where students learn Hindi and Mandarin Chinese, and Dancing Classrooms.
