From My House to Yours

I purchased plastic poinsettias from Garden Ridge about 10 years ago and have been using them on my tree every year. The poinsettias look like they've been covered with ice crystals. Some years I use white lights--some years I mix in some red ones--but I always top the tree with an illuminated star. I don't use very many (if any) glass ornaments as I have a toddler who is fascinated by my tree. Maybe in a year or two I'll go back to placing clear glass candy canes and sentimental favorites throughout the tree.
