The Galleria Ice Skating Center at the Galleria Dallas

The Galleria Ice Skating Center at the Galleria Dallas mall provides fun for the whole family. Open year round, but especially popular in the hot summers, the ice skating rink has public session times, professional lessons, and private lessons for the aspiring Olympian.

The ice rink is on the lowest level of the mall between Macy's and the Westin Galleria Hotel. Several restaurants surround the skating area.

Hours:

Mon 10 a.m.-5 p.m., 8 p.m.-10 p.m.;
Tue 10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., 8 p.m.-10 p.m.;
Wed 11 a.m.-5:15 p.m., 8 p.m.-10 p.m.;
Thu 10:30 a.m.-5:15 p.m., 8 p.m.-10 p.m.;
Fri 11 a.m.-11 p.m.;
Sat noon-11 p.m.;
Sun noon-6pm.

Cost:

The admission of $7 covers the time until the end of the public session. Bring your own skates or rent a pair at the rink for $3.

Lessons:

Lessons cost as little as $104 for 8 weeks of thirty-minute lessons and are offered for ages three and up. During the weeks you're a student, you get in to the public skate sessions free.
