Fort Worth Stock Show Rodeo Steer Wrestling

In steer wrestling, horse and steer run full-speed and side-by-side. The competitor leaps from the horse, grabs the steer's horn, and plants his boots firmly on the ground, stopping the steer. He then wrestles the steer to the ground.

After the steer wrestling event comes the "Hard Luck Buck". Three videos of spectacular and painful rodeo falls are shown on the big screens. The audience applauds for the one who had the hardest luck and, in the name of that cowboy, WarnerStevens L. L. P. donates $100 to the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund. This is a fund which helps badly injured competitors cover their medical bills.
