1. DFW Easter Egg Hunts and Celebrations
There are lots of Easter Egg Hunts going on in DFW. These are just a few. If you'd like to submit an egg hunt in your area, please email the info as soon as possible.
2. Restaurants Featuring Easter Brunch
Many restaurants are pulling out the red carpet for Easter with special brunch menus, chocolate fountains and rooms full of house made desserts. Celebrate Easter and the end of winter with friends and family at one of DFW's great restaurants. Some offer all-you-care-to-eat buffets.
3. Places to Take Easter Photos with Peter Cottontail
Here's a list of photo opportunities where you can take some quality photos of your kids with the Easter Bunny. Or better yet, hire a professional to take that stress off your To-Do List. Peter Cottontail is stopping by several DFW Malls between now and Easter to take photos with your kids.
If you are a do-it-yourselfer, don't forget DFW's area bluebonnet patches. They make a great backdrop for your family Easter photos. BYOBunny.
4. Where to Buy Earth-Friendly Easter Grass
More details on Biodegradable Easter grass.
5. Where to Buy an Easter Ham
Ham has been a staple for our Easter celebration as long as I can remember. Here's a list of DFW locations where you can buy a delicious, smoked ham--perfect for Easter or any family feast.
6. Dallas Blooms!
Dallas Blooms! is the festival of spring flowers at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Dallas Blooms! only runs through April 8 this year (Easter is late this year).
The Easter Egg hunt is so popular at the Arboretum that it usually sells out very early. Better make plans soon. Eve if you miss the big event, you can still stroll through the gardens and snap photos of the kids. Bring Your Own (stuffed) Bunny!
