The talented singer and actress stars as "Jade" on the new Nickelodeon show Victorious. Jade is a gifted diva who rules Hollywood Arts High School and feels threatened by any competition -- especially from the show's star "Tory" (Victoria Justice).
Parade Details and New Parade Route
The parade begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 1 with a new parade route. The 2012 parade boasts a new route starting at City Hall and ending just past The Adolphus Hotel. For more information about the parade, including ticket information for bleacher seating, visit Children’s Holiday Parade.
The event is free and open to the public. A limited number of bleacher seat tickets are available. The bleachers are positioned along Commerce Street and City Hall Plaza starting at $25. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the medical center. Purchase tickets at online. Proceeds from ticket sales benefit Children's Medical Center.
For those not purchasing reserved tickets, sidewalk seating is available along the parade route, and officials recommend arriving before 7 a.m. to secure a good spot. An estimated 350,000 attend the annual event. Take DART to get downtown if at all possible.

Gillies spent her summers attending theatre camp and her time after school taking dance, voice and acting lessons. After playing the role of Lucy in a regional production of the musical comedy 13, Gillies was cast in the same role for 13’s Broadway debut. She starred in the Broadway musical for four months alongside her Victorious co-star Ariana Grande. Her other stage credits include American Girl Revue, Annie, Charlie Brown, Once on This Island, Sweet Charity and Into the Woods. On television, Gillies had a recurring role on the drama The Black Donnellys and starred in the pilot Locker 514 for Cartoon Network. Gillies appeared in the movie The Clique and the comedy Harold opposite Cuba Gooding, Jr. and Ally Sheedy.
