For more than twenty years, the Dallas Wine and Food Festival has been showcasing the best culinary expertise the Metroplex has to offer. Chefs from the area's five-star restaurants prepare themed dinners in various cultural locales around the city. A Rising Stars Chef's Contest pits hot new chefs against each other to see who can come up with the most palate-pleasing combinations, the top ten of which are then featured in a dinner. Wines are selected from the Dallas Morning News Wine Competition.
