Main Street Days in Grapevine

by Heather Carr
for About.com

The third weekend in May of each year, Grapevine celebrates Main Street Days. The outdoor festival always has music, arts and crafts, and entertainment. Exhibits and demonstrations highlight the opportunities for outdoor activities available in the Metroplex.

Often blazing hot, but sometimes overcast or rainy, Main Street Days is always a lot of fun. Gunfighters, prime local musicians, pony rides, stunt performances, and the Budweiser Clydesdales are just a few of the things we can expect from the Grapevine festival. Winery tours, train rides, and museum tours are also there.

Getting There:

Main Street Days is on Main Street in Grapevine. To get there, take 635 to Grapevine. The organizers have signs set up to guide you to free parking and shuttle buses to get you from the parking to the festival.

Definitely take the whole family. Read about the 2007 Main Street Days.
