Dallas Blooms! at the Dallas Arboretum

Going to visit Dallas Blooms! is one of my favorite spring traditions in DFW. Each year the Dallas Arboretum transitions its gardens from the rich fall tones of pansies, flowering kale and chrysanthemums to vibrant spring colors with tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and azaleas.

I don't know if it's even possible, but it seems like the Arboretum becomes more beautiful from year to year. The tulips are among my favorites at Dallas Blooms! I love the simple elegance of each bulb on the stem.

The Dallas Arboretum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and Dallas Blooms! runs from March 2 through April 7, 2013. The Arboretum is located at 8525 Garland Road, Dallas, Texas 75218. 214-515-6500.
