Fireworks in DFW
DFW offers a lot of great fireworks displays -- many are held with festivals and activites during the day.
Taste of Dallas
What: It's the 26th anniversary of Taste of Dallas so its going to be bigger and better than ever. Dallas' best chefs from the coolest restaurants will prepare food and beverages to delite the masses. Complete with music, arts, kids activities and much more. Meet athletes and cheerleaders from your favorite teams, mascots and more.
When: July 13-15, 2012
Where: Fair Park
For the Kids: Giant slides, bounce houses, balloon artists, jugglers, midway rides. Bring you camera for photos with Spider Man and Captain America.
Peach Festival
What: The 28th annual Peach Festival celebrate peaches with over 200 arts, crafts, food and vendor booths. Live music, kids activities, Peach Pedal Bike Ride, "42" Domino Tourney, free shutttles and parking. Enjoy Peach Ice Cream, Peach Cobbler and lots of peachy treats.
When: Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Historic downtown Weatherford
Cost: Parking is free. $5 admission for adults. Free for children 12 and under. Discounted tickets for $4 at the chamber of commerce office.
Bastille on Bishop
Don't miss the third annual Bastille on Bishop Street Festival. Head out on Saturday, July 14 (7 p.m. to 11 p.m.) to enjoy a petanque court in the street, mimes, cirque performances, scooter rallies, french maid relays, bicycles, baguettes, crepe stands, accordions and more!There will be lots of French street food for sale (mussels, ham & gruyere on a baguette, French sausages, chocolate tarts, crepes, snow cones and more) all for $5 each. There will be three outdoor bars set up in the district serving French wine and St Germaine cocktails for $5 each (with the purchase of a wine glass).
