Celebrate Mardi Gras and other events at festivals this February.
1. Texas Black Film Festival
The Fifth Annual Texas Black Film Festival features three full days of entertaining and insightful films, workshops, and events. Programmed for family entertainment and inspired by the African-American experience, this festival will provide film makers an opportunity to reach audiences with films seldom recognized through major theatrical release.
Film categories will be screened in 2 hour blocks. Each block is a separate $8 ticketed event.

2. Mardi Gras DFW
Yes 28 bands on 5 stages perform to celebrate Mardi Gras in Texas. Mardi Gras DFW will be held inside the Automobile Building at Fair Park, so it will not be canceled or delayed because of the weather. Tickets are $40 at the door, click 'n print online is $32.50 plus $3.50 service fee= $36. Advance tickets at Kroger are $33.50.

3. Oscar Preview Party at SMG
Watch All the Glamour and Glitz on the Big Screen at Studio Movie Grill. Beginning with the red carpet and finishing with the announcement of best film we will be televising it live for your enjoyment.
