6. March 17: Dallas St. Patrick's Day Parade
What: Greenville Avenue's annual St. Patty's Day Parade might have a new name (boo) but it's still something you just need to experience. Food, green beverages at local pubs and restaurants, music and more. The 2012 Greenville Avenue Parade almost didn't take place (financial woes) but thanks to a generous donation by Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, the parade went on as planned.
