The Warren Commission concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald fired out of a corner window on the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository. Cardboard boxes were found arranged in a “sniper's nest” looking over Houston Street and Elm Street. Many people have questioned why Oswald did not fire on President Kennedy while the limousine drove toward him on Houston Street and instead waited for him to turn on Elm Street. I can't guess why he would have hesitated, but the view from the sixth floor of the Depository allows for a clear shot in either direction.
