The Sid Richardson Museum resides in historic Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth. The quiet little museum houses an ever-changing selection of works from the western-themed collection of Texas oilman and philanthropist Sid W. Richardson (1891-1959). More than 50,000 people view the artworks each year.
The bulk of the collection consists of paintings by Frederic Remington and Charles M. Russell. Two rooms showcase more than fifty beautifully done paintings by these artists and others. Free guided tours are given on the second Saturday of each month and free tours are available any time for groups of up to fifty people with at least three weeks advanced scheduling. Admission to the museum is always free.
