The great thing about the Nasher Center is that it's not an intimidating place. It's very interactive and perfect for children. You can become part of the art exhibit by taking unique pictures of your family or friends in front of the fountains or amidst the sculptures. It's also a tranquil place where you can enjoy a snack or glass of wine and take in the amazing scenery.
In addition to indoor and outdoor gallery spaces, the Center contains an auditorium, education and research facilities, a cafe and a gift shop.
Special events include Target First Saturdays (free admission for all visitors and activities for the kids), movies, concerts and many distinguished speakers on art and architecture.
The Nasher Sculpture Center is located at 2001 Flora Street Dallas, Texas 75201. 214-242-5100. The center is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
