Horse Races, Dining, Music and More Fun in Grand Prairie

By , About.com Guide

If you love horse racing, then you'll love Lone Star Park. It's the horse track in Grand Prairie where you can find both thoroughbred and quarter horse racing.

Because it's located in DFW, the Grandstand is air-conditioned with a seating capacity of approximately 8,000 seats. Additional seating is available throughout the park -- with outdoor seating available for those who want to be as close to the track as you can get without a horse.

The Post Time Pavilion, located adjacent to the Grandstand, is a state-of-the-art building open year-round and features a Las Vegas-style racebook, a sports bar and a casual dining area. View live horse racing via simulcast from top tracks across the country.
