If you love horse racing, then you'll love Lone Star Park. It's the horse track in Grand Prairie where you can find both thoroughbred and quarter horse racing.
Because it's located in DFW, the Grandstand is air-conditioned with a seating capacity of approximately 8,000 seats. Additional seating is available throughout the park -- with outdoor seating available for those who want to be as close to the track as you can get without a horse.
Lone Star Park is also home to the multi-million dollar simulcast racebook, sports bar and event venue called Bar & Book. It's a 36,000 square foot venue that's open to the public 363 days a year.
Lone Star Park is located on Belt Line Road just north of Interstate-30. Lone Star Park is located at 1000 Lone Star Parkway, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. It's nearest neighbor is Verizon Theatre.
