What: Well, it's no longer the Greenville Avenue St. Patrick's Day Parade. The city of Dallas got all involved and things will be a little different this year. It will still be the most celebrated St. Patrick's Day celebration around with outrageous floats, costumes and mardi gras atmosphere make this a very festive place to sip green beer and revel with Irish pride. A parade favorite is the “Patty O’Furniture Psycho Killer Drill Team.”
When: March 16, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 12, 2011 (Rain or shine). Festivities continue waaaaay into the night.
What: Savor the flavor of the most delicious food and wine festival in Texas with the 9th annual Savor Dallas, March 15-16, 2013. The celebration of wine, food, spirits and the arts spotlights a new downtown venue for the Friday night wine stroll. The largest premium wine and food event in Texas features cuisine from over 60 of the area’s top chefs and more than 400 premium wines, spirits and beers at its events throughout the weekend. The new Perot Museum of Nature and Science is the site for Friday's traditional “Wine Stroll." Taste premium wines, spirits and beers, while touring all five interactive levels of Dallas' fantastic new cultural and educational treasure.
On Saturday the Reserve Tasting and the International Grand Tasting will be staged in the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas.

Ticket prices for the individual events range from $35 to $125. Weekend passes also are available at an overall cost saving. Valet Parking will be $10 per car at the Perot Museum on March 15th. Parking for March 16th will be $8 self-parking in Irving Convention Center Garage or valet parking for $15.
March 17: Celebrate St. Patty's Day!There are parades, events, parties and DFW's best Irish Bars! Get your green on and pinch those who aren't feeling the luck 'o the Irish on this day.
When: March 23-24, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Frisco Square, off Main Street and the Tollway in Frisco.
What: Rock 'n Roll Dallas Half Marathon. Starting at City Hall more than 13,000 runners will participate in this 13.1 mile race benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
