According to the ancient Mayan calendar, December 21, 2012 is supposed to be the end of the world (as we know it). Why not risk going out with a bang at your favorite restaurant or watering hole with a drink in hand!?

2. Go Out With a Beer in Hand at PhD
Go out with a beer in hand at PhD’s End of the World Party Friday, December 21, 2012. “If you’re going, you might as well go after a few,” says PhD owner Eric Tcschetter. PhD is celebrating the end of the world the only way they know how – with good food and great drinks. Enjoy $3 domestic and well drinks and $5 drafts and wine. Listen to live music on the patio by Kathy Corbin of The Barefoot Hippies and Bella Estrada of Ciao Bella from 8 p.m. to midnight, including a rendition of the favorite R.E.M hit “It’s The End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine).” And, if the universe as we know does come to an end, you’re entire tab is free!When: Friday, December 21, 2012.
