I love Thanksgiving but I don't love fighting the crowd at the grocery store, peeling potatoes, steaming broccoli, and messing up my kitchen. And I'm a genius at making a mess.
If you don't want to spend time all that time cooking and doing all the dishes by yourself, then take the family to one of DFW's fine restaurants to celebrate Thanksgiving Day. Pumpkin Pie is more important than football anyway! Right?
Some offer lavish buffets and you can order right off the menu at other locations. Buffet prices do not include tax or tips -- and some places may charge for parking or you may want to factor in a valet tip.
Think about it. If you go to a buffet, you can eat all the sweet potatoes and pecan pie that you want. That's worth the price of admission! Happy Thanksgiving!
