Bliss Raw Cafe

This raw and vegan cafe uses high quality, seasonal, organic, and local when possible ingredients for their shakes, soups, salads, entrees, and more. Bliss Raw Cafe is located at 6855 Greenville Avenue in Dallas. Take I-75 north from downtown Dallas, exit Park Lane and go east, then turn right on Greenville.

Zanata

A Mediterranean-inspired restaurant using local, seasonal ingredients, Zanata offers entrees as varied as pepperoni pizza from a wood-fired oven and rosemary lemon honey glazed wild salmon. The wine list contains an international selection that includes local Texas wines. Zanata is in Rockwall at 202 E. Rusk Street.

York Street

The clean lines of the modern decor serve to accentuate the seasonal flavors of a menu that changes daily. The chef emphasizes food from local farmers. Dinner is served Tuesday through Saturday starting at 6 p.m. York Street is located at 6047 Lewis Street in Dallas. Call (214) 826-0968 for reservations.

Lonesome Dove Western Bistro

Chef/owner and Iron Chef winner Tim Love puts his culinary skills to creating fine urban Western cuisine at the Lonesome Dove Western Bistro. Quail, kangaroo, elk, and buffalo are among the unusual offerings at this southwestern-themed restaurant, but he also emphasizes Texas beef and local and seasonal fruits and vegetables. Located in the Fort Worth Stockyards at 2406 N Main Street in Fort Worth. Call (817) 740-8810 for reservations or go online for a menu and reservations online at their web site.

Cafe Modern

The cafe at the Museum of Modern Art in the Fort Worth Cultural District features a seasonally-changing menu as creative and original as the exhibitions in the museum.
