The Pure Salon and Spa is located in a shopping center in Las Colinas. The entrance leads into the shop, where a friendly receptionist greets clients, shows them to a comfortable seat to await their appointment, and brings a beverage -- bottled water, tea, soda, or wine. Deep greens and browns provide a calm atmosphere in the spa.
The hair salon is at the back of the spa near a large window letting in natural light. It's always nice to know a new color looks as good outdoors as it does indoors. As an Aveda salon, the coloring is made of 99% plant materials and shampoos, conditioners, and other hair and scalp treatments are similarly botanical. All hair services come with a hand massage and hot towel conditioning treatment.
Pure offers a range of spa services, including facials, massage, and hair removal. Aromatherapy options can be incorporated into most services. Three rooms provide privacy and comfort. Decorative fabrics and images decorate the ceiling, changed every few months to keep the view interesting.
Getting There: Take 183 to MacArthur Drive. Go north on MacArthur and turn right on Byron Nelson Way. Turn right at the second entrance, drive between the two buildings, and take a right. Pure will be in the building to your right.
