Grapevine Mills Mall is just north of the DFW airport. A popular shopping destination for locals and tourists, the mall has food, entertainment, and organized activities like MallWalkers and a kids' club.
Designed in a single-story rectangle and organized in six "neighborhoods" for easy navigation, Grapevine Mills Mall has a mix of upscale outlet stores, like Off 5th (Saks Fifth Avenue), Last Call (Neiman Marcus), and the JCPenney Outlet Store, large megastores, like Books-A-Million and Burlington Coat Factory, and myriad smaller boutique shops.
Brides would do well to shop here. Several bridal stores sell unique wedding gowns. Bridesmaid dresses and flower girl gowns can be found in many stores. With the stationery stores and gift shops, a bride doesn't have to look far to complete her wedding shopping.
The mall also has plenty of entertainment options. The Dr. Pepper Star Center has hockey leagues and figure skating, as well as skate and hockey lessons and public skate times. Woodward Skatepark offers an air-conditioned place to skate and lessons, too. For less athletic activities, try the lunar mini-golf--golf under black lights--or the AMC 30 movies.
Food options are equally varied, with more than thirty eateries, from sit-down restaurants to fast food to desserts. Grab a coffee at one of several cafes or sit down at the Rainforest Cafe theme restaurant.
For those who want to spend more than one day shopping, hotels abound in the area. Within walking distance are Amerisuites, Fairfield Inn, and Hilton DFW Lakes.
