The Skylink at Dallas Fort Worth Airport provides convenient transportation between terminals. The two-car trains travel in an elevated loop that takes about fifteen minutes to go all the way around. Trains travel in both directions and take about two minutes to get between stops.
Each car has eight seats--four at either end--for those who need them. The rest of us stand and hang on to the many rails. There's plenty of room for large groups and their carry-on luggage.
Large windows allow expansive views of the terminals, runways, and hangars. The kids think this is great entertainment, so if you have a layover or a flight delay, you might take them on the Skylink to keep them happy. Smaller children will need to stand near either end of the car for the windows that reach lower.
The Skylink is free. It's inside security at the airport, so you can consider that your airline tickets paid for the ride.
