For a truly relaxing experience, check out the cozy inside, covered with dark wood and with bar stools and small tables for quiet conversation. Here you will find wine-related gifts and accessories.

For those with children traveling with them, the charming "patio" area has bistro-style seating with small bud vases on the tables and comfortable cushions on the chairs. The patio looks out on a musical sculpture where the kids can play while you enjoy your wine.

The menu includes a lengthy list of wines, both red and white and both local and international. Light snacks are offered, such as a delicious olive tapenade with crackers. What impressed me most about La Bodega was that the prices for the wine and snacks are in line with prices at similar wineries outside the airport -- no noticeable increase simply for being in the airport. A glass of red wine and an order of olive tapenade cost me $18, including the tip for the bartender and server.
