The Interurban Railway Museum is housed in a restored depot that served Plano from 1908 until 1948. The Old Red Courthouse in downtown Dallas is a fine example of the courthouse-building fervor that swept through Texas in the 1880s and 1890s. In an imposing Romanesque style with turrets and gargoyles (actually wyverns), the courthouse dominates the area near Dealey Plaza, even though it is not as tall as many of the surrounding buildings.
Main Stage Bar and Grill is the place where adults can enjoy good food and a beer in a 21-and-up setting.
Great Wolf Lodge is an indoor water park located in Grapevine, Texas. It becomes an outdoor waterpark too during the summer months.

The Dallas World Aquarium showcases a variety of exotic and endangered species in a series of ecosystems designed to make the animals feel at home. Visitors wind through the exhibits on gently sloped paths with plenty of places for grandparents and toddlers to sit a moment. Three restaurants provide fine dining—and kids' meals—at the end of an enjoyable visit.
The Admiral's Club in Terminal C at DFW provides a nice place to unwind and relax before a flight or during a layover. Quiet, free wi-fi, full bar, and decent snack menu makes the time pass quickly.

At Build-A-Bear Workshops, kids get to build, dress, and accessorize their own stuffed animal. The new toys get a birth certificate with the name of the stuffed animal and the owner's name.
